What happens if Raskolnikov comes to Fatih? He may continue to drift on the streets and get lost in his thoughts. But maybe the complexity of the city, the streets, the people- everything he encounters on his potential route, would wake him up and realize what he is experiencing. Would they change the thoughts he has? Would he want to run away or face the reality?
What’s going to happen in rest of his life? There are many options/gates/roads. Which should he choose? Maybe the most logical thing to do is to hide in Fatih’s mess. But what if there is a path that will put him at peace? He may try the doors to find this path- but this ‘right’ path may not even be real. He can never be sure until he tries.
