COOP-FATIH

Our story begins in the complex streets of Fatih district. While walking, we see all the people trying to reach somewhere. A few people we can catch can only spare 2 minutes for us. While talking, we note what kind of space these people might need for their living spaces.
She is a housewife living with her son and his family.
They are 5 people who is having lots of visitors.
She knits and cooks so well that her neighboors always
consults her about these.
She loves to be in a crowd house yet she needs some
silence to rest well.
she complains about always being at home and
cant find any accompanies for her
hobies.

He lives in Samatya since he was born.
He is currrently living with his wife but their children are neighboors
to them.
He has lots of friends from neighbourhood around his age
and they meets in the teahouses around and spend most of their time
there.
He loves to have children around him.
His father used to has a farm but he barely lived there but still talks about
memories he had there.
He feels old and hates being alone.

The idea of production, making decisions, sharing e.x. together, brings a problem with itself, who will keep an eye on the community?
Being a crowdy-unit means there will be lots of conflicts. as the designer I should had create a mechanism that will provide the design contol itself. The social media and technology steps in here.

Dostoyevski Inputs

When we travel in the story of the brothers karamazov; We see a family that cannot come together despite all partnerships and blood ties. In this mind experiment of Dostoyevsky, we experience that the father character, who cuts off his physical ties with his children as soon as they step into life, and being spatially distant from each other cause him to be unable to connect even with his own child. In this project, in order for the whole community to come together ;
starting from the smallest units, we tend to create meeting and gathering places.
